Job Title: Metal Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Metal Mechanic with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures and a working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals. You will be responsible for building and repairing sheet metal structures as well as composite materials according to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Build and repair sheet metal structures and composite materials to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints.
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft panels.
- Install kits and build items per drawings and manuals.
- Repair aircraft parts made of sheet metal or composite.
- Inspect items for serviceability and ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.
- Assist other departments as required.
- Participate in road trips as needed.
- Work on Bell helicopters and Airbus models.
Essential Skills- Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements.
- Working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and aircraft drawings, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals.
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and aircraft modification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of sheet metal experience is a plus.
- Composite experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
