The Director of Maintenance provides leadership and management of the Aviation Maintenance, Avionics and Interior Departments and all functions performed under its umbrella. The incumbent is directly accountable to ensure that plans, programs, policies and procedures are in place to guarantee compliance with regulatory and company requirements. This person ensures company and departmental goals and objectives, including fiscal performance are achieved and that employee and customer satisfaction is realized while maintaining adherence to all safety standards. The position reports to the VP of Maintenance Operations and Advisory Services and serves in the following regulated capacities:

  -FAR 145.151 Accountable Manager FAR 145 Repair Station Operations

• Bachelor’s Degree required with coursework in Engineering or a related field highly desired.
• Previous FAA certification as a Systems and Equipment DER is highly desired; thorough working knowledge of FAA supplemental type certification procedures is required.
• 5 to 10 years experience in MRO and aircraft operations and production management with comparable business aircraft operations.
• Current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
• Proficient using various software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Experience with Corridor MRO and project management software highly desired.
