Description:You will be the Test Fleet Maintenance Field Technician for the M270A1/A2 HIMARS program, based in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for maintaining and supporting the HIMARS system, and were looking for a skilled technician to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Test Fleet Maintenance Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support for the M270A1/A2 HIMARS program. Your responsibilities will include:
•Performing fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
•Maintaining a detailed understanding of the HIMARS/M270A1/A2 system and associated equipment
•Representing Lockheed Martin in a professional and positive manner, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
•Traveling to support Test Fleet tasks at locations such as White Sands or Redstone (as needed)

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
HIMARS/M270A1 experience including associated equipment required to fault isolation, diagnostics and repair
Must be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance prior to start
Must be willing to travel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities
Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer
Desired Skills:
-Prior military experience
-Experience with the Army supply system
-The ideal candidate would be a prior service M270A1/HIMARS vehicle operator, maintainer or trainer with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities
-Prior international assignment experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
