Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Flight Inspector 3 located in Palmdale, CA
This Inspectors duties include:
Basic Qualifications Level 3:
High School Diploma with at least 4 years experience in aerospace with emphasis in aircraft manufacturing and quality assurance OR an Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years in aerospace with emphasis in aircraft manufacturing and quality assurance
Must be capable of performing mechanical measurement, test witness, processing of nonconforming material into the MRB and verification of reworked or repaired product
Must be capable of obtaining Periodic Review and Material Review Board Authority for Non-Conformance documentation, disposition, and processing
Must have active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to starting
Must be willing to work any shift
Must be able to pass medical/respiratory exams
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years’ experience working with production, flight test, and engineering
An A&P license is a plus
Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to all levels of leadership
Salary Range: $70,400.00 - $117,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
