Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician position ensures that all inspection activities are accomplished in the most efficient manner and in accordance with approved company manuals, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines. This position is a supervisory position reporting to the Chief Inspector.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance work on company Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft at our maintenance bases including but not limited to dismantling, overhauling repairing, assembling all aircraft parts and components.
- Perform routine releases returning aircraft to service.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company, manufacturer, and FAA requirements.
- Maintain work area, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working conditionsuF0B7 Collaborate with appropriate Inspection personnel <>
- Ensure hazardous materials storage is frequently inspected and ensure proper labeling, containers, and location in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid unrestricted drivers license.
- Good driving record and ability to drive tugs, trucks, and hangar equipment; taxi aircraft; alert to moving vehicles and aircraft.
- Valid US passport
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance.
- Available to work shifts and overtime if necessary.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel frequently in confined spaces
