You will be the Mechanical Designer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program team. Our team is responsible for developing, preparing, and releasing critical documents to support the fabrication and procurement requirements for the Increment 2 Demonstration phase.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and releasing engineering documents, including drawings and Bill of Materials, to support the programs hardware configuration. You will play a key role in designing, coordinating, and releasing documents in our Digital Product Lifecycle Management (dPLM) tool.

Your responsibilities will include:
•Developing and releasing drawings and assembly parts lists
•Creating and releasing engineering release documents
•Generating solid models and utilizing Model Based Design (MBD)
•Performing tolerance analyses
•Providing support to Production Planning, Operations, and Global Supply Chain
•Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Creo and PTC Windchill
Office tools experience
GD&T and design / drawing experience
Desired Skills:
Experienced with Model Based Definition
Experience with hardware build, integration and testing
Experience supporting suppliers and transition to production activities (Yield improvement, producibility, etc)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
