OnsiteWe are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer II to play a key role in connecting two leading RTX businesses at the Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence both Commercial and Military Engine programs while being at the heart of cutting-edge aerospace technology. As a key technical liaison, you will work closely with the Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) floor teams to address daily challenges and technical concerns across all Collins Engine Control Systems (ECS) product lines.
In this dynamic, customer-facing position, you will manage engineering recommendations related to In-Process Findings (IPFs) or other similar technical concerns during engine overhaul activities and drive fast-paced resolutions to critical Collins component issues. Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience using strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
