An Aircraft Inspector will conduct all required inspections in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers approved data, any customers approved program data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accomplish incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturers manuals.
Ensure documentation of maintenance performed is as required by FARs, Customers Repair Station Manual and Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program ( CAMP ).
Accomplish final buy-back of maintenance performed.
Accomplish in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc.
As authorized by the customer, perform return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337.
Requirements Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled
Minimum of three (3) years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience on 737/767/Airbus/Next Gen
GEN FAM - 737, NextGen, A320 - preferred.
F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License - required.
Miscellaneous While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
