We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to perform modifications on Dash-8 aircrafts. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in shooting and bucking rivets, recognizing differences in metal types, and executing sheet metal bends according to aviation standards.

• Shoot and buck rivets to specifications.
• Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness.
• Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices.
• Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure.
• Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials.
• Perform repairs to the aircraft and determine which repairs can or cannot be made.
• Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion, and follow both written and verbal instructions.

• 4 years of aviation experience.
• Expertise in sheet metal, aircraft modification, aircraft sheet metal, and structure riveting.
• Experience in installation, fabrication, repair, depot maintenance, modifications, and heavy maintenance in aviation.

• FAA Airframe license highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of sheet metal experience on any aircraft.
• Possession of all tools on the minimum tool list, with tools etched with a unique identifier and a shadowed toolbox.
• Consideration for candidates with 8+ years of experience without an Airframe license.

Work in a hangar environment within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) setting. Follow the production schedule and complete work cards in designated time frames. Choose between two schedules: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 6:30am to 5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
