Job Description
Join our team as a Sheet Metal Mechanic where you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of aircraft structures. You will work with a variety of aircraft, including Bell helicopters and Airbus, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Understand and execute maintenance procedures and requirements.
- Possess a working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems.
- Read and comprehend blueprints, aircraft drawings, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals.
- Build and repair sheet metal structures according to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints.
- Construct and repair composite structures.
- Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft panels.
- Install kits as per instructions.
- Build items according to drawings and manuals.
- Repair aircraft parts using sheet metal or composite materials.
- Inspect items for serviceability.
- Assist other departments as required.
- Participate in road trips as required.
- Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.
Essential Skills
- Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements.
- Working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and aircraft drawings/maintenance manuals, and installation manuals.
- Skill in building and/or repairing sheet metal structures and composites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of sheet metal experience is a plus.
- Composite experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Reliability is essential.

Work Environment
You will be working in a large hangar environment alongside a team of 45 employees. This role involves hands-on work with aircraft, requiring both technical skill and teamwork to maintain and upgrade helicopters and service Metros fleet.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
