Qualifications Structures Technician III Minimum Qualifications or Experience
* More than 10 years’ aircraft structural maintenance experience on commercial narrow/wide body transport category aircraft (Boeing, Airbus) fleet types.
* Valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe rating.
* Starlink or similar installation experience required
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proficient in oral and written English.
* Must report for assignment with personal set of standard trade-specific tools. Preferred Qualifications or Experience
* Aircraft structural maintenance experience on current fleet types being maintained or modified by the Repair Station.
* Valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
* Experience in V/VIP custom aircraft interior completions.
* Completion of General Familiarization Training Courses on current fleet types being maintained or modified by the Repair Station. In addition to being capable of carrying out the duties of a Level II Structures Technician, a Level III must be:
* Able to read, comprehend and follow the instructions of aircraft specific instructions such as Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Engineering Orders etc.
* Able to tutor, or mentor, a lesser skilled technician.
* Able to perform mid to moderately heavy structures such as modifications, or repairs, to seat tracks, stringers, frames, floor beams, spars and external skins on all areas of the aircraft with little, to no, supervision.
* Have knowledge, and skills, to operate more complex structural equipment such as hydraulically/pneumatically operated brakes, shears, shrinker/stretchers, rollers, bead blasters, “dimplers” etc.
* Able to perform precision drilling, sanding, riveting or cutting operations, to extreme specifications using hand, or table, operated tools.
