MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program.
• Must meet job Education and Experience requirements
• Preferred: At least 90 days within the DOD SkillBridge Program with a maximum of 180 days.
• Willing to work assigned shift.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Airframe & Powerplant (A & P) certificate, or equivalent experience. (equivalency minimum of 2 years experience as an aircraft mechanic)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic. (experience is not cumulative)
• Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment.
• Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures.
• Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions
• Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.
• Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents.
• Military Service members participating in a SkillBridge program are NOT eligible for wages or other benefits.
• You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you: Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active Military service. Obtain approval from your unit commander. Agree that participation in the DOD SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Aircraft experience, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
• Experience in a production atmosphere.
