Skybridge Aviation is hiring qualified structural mechanics to perform modifications and installs on fixed wing aircraft.

This 12–18-month contract offers aviation professionals the opportunity to make a real-world impact by supporting a next-generation ISR and strike platform designed for agility, precision, and performance in austere environments.

• Modify and install structural components, antennas, and pods on fixed wing aircraft.
• Work from engineering drawings, tech manuals, and other written instructions to perform precision structural modifications.
• Perform drill-ups, fastener installation, and structural repairs and inspections, including in confined spaces.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools to fabricate and assemble close-tolerance parts.
• Utilize company systems to document work and retrieve production data.

• 8+ years of experience with modification of aircraft structures, maintenance, and inspection.
• Deep understanding of aircraft sheet metal principles and techniques, including structural repair and component fabrication.
• Skilled in blueprint and drawing interpretation, with the ability to work independently or lead small teams.
• Familiarity with ISR platform modifications is highly desired.
• Ability to train and mentor junior technicians and support a high-performance team.
• Strong knowledge of industry quality standards, FOD procedures, and Tool Control compliance.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, standard FAA DOT drug test, and basic health physical.
• Proof of US citizenship.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• MUST have basic tools/box.
