Role Summary
* In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft structures, including performing modifications and repairs on composite and sheet metal components. You will support both on-aircraft and off-aircraft maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Completion of a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent schooling.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft structural sheet metal repair or modification.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
* Effective written and verbal communication regarding aircraft status.
* Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory control.
* Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
* Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays.
* Ability to work outdoors in seasonal and inclement weather.
* Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if applicable.

* Perform troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance on customer aircraft.
* Fabricate and modify structural aircraft parts as required.
* Perform minor structural repairs on composite components, both attached and detached.
* Assist in hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures.
* Assist with complex structural repairs on or off the aircraft.
* Repair and install aircraft components as required.
* Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
* Participate in 5S activities and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Perform and document work per appropriate manuals, regulations, and Client General Work Requirements.
* Operate ground support equipment as required.
* Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
* Assist with maintenance at off-site locations.
* Assist with towing aircraft as needed.
* Perform tasks in support of other maintenance disciplines as required. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.
* Frequent lifting, carrying, and manipulation of structural components.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Exposure to noise, solvents, paints, adhesives, and other chemicals.
* Work performed in hangars, shop areas, and on aircraft, potentially under variable environmental conditions.
