Role Introduction
Reports to: Assistant Manager System Development and Accounting Control
The Accounting Supervisor sits within our Passenger Revenue Accounting team which is part of our Customer Travel team in our Finance Department. You will be responsible for acting as a system administrator to handle and administrate system application and carry out stock control in Passenger Revenue Accounting System. You will be also responsible for providing guidance and support in daily Revenue Accounting system operations, performing accounts reconciliation and assisting to prepare all relevant interim & yearly schedules and reports accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and control security access right of Passenger Revenue Accounting System
- Prepare and distribute the User Health Check List to the relevant sections manager for review and approval, and keep the summary with supporting document for auditing
- Prepare all relevant supporting documents and reports to auditors during the auditing period
- Provide guidance and support to new users in daily Revenue Accounting system operations
- Monitor rules update in Passenger Revenue Accounting system to ensure compliance with internal control procedure
- Perform feasibility study in system enhancements
- Create ticket stock ownership for BU stock distribution and issuance
- Monthly Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation and input interline billing invoices in SAP
- Assist Revenue Accounting System month-end closure and reconciliation and prepare all relevant interim & yearly schedules and reports accurately and timely
- Prepare monthly Revenue Reports and distribute to requestors
Requirements
- HKDSE standard with a pass in English
- Higher Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience of which 3 year is in supervisory role
- Well organized with strong analytical mind
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
- Experience in using SAP advantageous
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Able to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet deadlines
- Willing to challenge the status quo and improve work processes
