We are seeking a Commissioning Manager who demonstrates a passion to work collaboratively with our client teams to deliver their complex infrastructure projects to time, cost and quality with a commitment to safety. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Strong leadership skills with outcome focused collaborative behaviours
- Successful management, oversight and delivery of commissioning work packages within complex infrastructure programmes for all allocated systems within the area of accountability
- Line management of a commissioning team in terms of safety, performance, conduct and output
- Application of robust commissioning/engineering management processes and procedures ensuring coherence from the work package scope through to system level close out including interface management
- Management and implementation of commissioning stakeholder engagement plans
- Ensure safe procedures are applied consistently across the allocated work packages
- Prepare and present regular commissioning progress updates,
- Management of changes to commissioning schedules, resources and forecasts
- Chair commissioning reviews with stakeholders including design reviews, change reviews and procedure reviews
- Resource planning for the commissioning team and implementation of a Suitably Qualified and Experience Personnel (SQEP) valuation process
Candidate Specification:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Substantial experience of commissioning large facilities and managing commissioning teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Proven track record in complex project delivery, in defence (preferred) or similar technical sectors
- Strong client and stakeholder relationship building skills
- Demonstrable knowledge and application of commissioning methodologies
- Ability to operate both autonomously and as part of a larger team
- Flexibility to travel and work in different sectors and clients
- Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills
- Essential soft skills include, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, effective listening, persuasion, creativity, collaborative style, insightfulness
- Computer literacy in Microsoft applications
- Must have existing active MOD security clearance (SC or higher) and hold a UK passport
Desired Qualifications and Accreditations:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence

Within this unit we deliver extensive services to projects ranging in scale and complexity from million&8217;s to 20bn, through the disciplines of programme management, project management, project controls, scheduling, cost management, estimating, infrastructure finance, management consulting and digital consulting.
