You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, leading and conducting spanet research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Your strong analytical background, experience in business and spanet intelligence, and ability to synthesize a wide range of analyses intro strategic insight will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell. You will be part of the broader Corporate Strategy team and work out of our Phoenix, AZ, location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100 onsite M-F.

Develop and implement the Strategic Planning (STRAP) process:
- Lead the development and execution of the annual STRAP process, working closely with senior leadership and business units to define strategic objectives, goals, and initiatives
- Facilitate the alignment of business unit strategies with the overall corporate strategy
- Monitor and track progress against strategic goals and initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership
Conduct competitive intelligence analysis:
- Gather and analyze spanet and competitor data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
- Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage in the spanet
- Lead and support the execution of strategic initiatives identified during STRAP and throughout the year
Drive strategic initiatives:
- Collaborate with business units to develop and implement action plans to achieve strategic objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of strategic initiatives, making adjustments as needed
Foster collaboration and communication:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic initiatives
- Communicate the strategic direction and progress to senior leadership, business units, and other relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- Stay abreast of industry trends, spanet dynamics, and emerging technologies that may impact Honeywells strategic planning
- Benchspan and analyze best practices in strategic planning and competitive intelligence to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications Must Have
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, consulting, private equity, finance or related roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data and information
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful strategies
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven experience in competitive intelligence analysis and spanet research
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines
- Proficiency in using strategic planning tools and software
