Role PurposeWe are looking for an Executive, Art Director, capable of delivering high-quality creative work for campaigns that engage audiences and align with brand objectives. This role is responsible for creating cohesive and impactful visuals across traditional media, digital platforms, and experiential spaneting, to drive brand engagement and resonance with target audiences.
Key AccountabilityBrand Identity:
• Uphold and evolve the brand identity across all design touchpoints.
• Ensure consistency in visual elements, including colour palette, typography, imagery, and graphics to maintain brand integrity and recognition.
Digital & Print Design:
• Create engaging visuals and spaneting materials tailored for various digital platforms to ensure seamless integration and user engagement.
• Develop high-quality print materials, including brochures, posters, flyers, packaging, and promotional assets.
• Collaborate with external vendors and print partners to ensure accurate production and timely delivery of printed assets.
Campaign Execution:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Copywriting, and Digital to execute integrated spaneting campaigns.
• Assist in campaign ideation, develop visual assets, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Art Direction & Visual Storytelling:
• Use design as a storytelling tool to evoke emotion and convey brand narratives.
• Infuse creativity and innovation into design solutions, pushing boundaries to differentiate the airline in the competitive spanetplace.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency in all design deliverables.
• Conduct thorough reviews of design solutions to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Experience in creating compelling visuals for various target demographics across multiple platforms (print, digital, mobile, etc).
• Crisis communications experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. InDesign skills are a good to have.
• Strong understanding of both website and app design within the travel industry.
Qualifications • Degree in Arts, majoring in Graphic Design or Advertising, with 0–2 years of experience and a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Diploma in Graphic Design, Advertising, or Mass Communication with at least 3 years of relevant experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
• Proven experience in designing for both digital and print mediums, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects.
• Prior experience in the airline industry or advertising is an added advantage.
Skills and Knowledge• Strong experience in designing compelling visuals for diverse audiences across print, digital, and mobile platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a solid grasp of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
• Skilled in website and mobile app design, particularly within the travel sector.
• Experienced in executing integrated spaneting campaigns across web, mobile, and social media.
• Capable of managing multiple projects with effective time and workflow management.
• Photography and photo editing skills, including directing photoshoots and editing stock images.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior management.
