Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Export Control Manager (f/m) to join our French Export Control department, LOEHF, based in Marignane, France.

Within the Export Control department in a team of 15 persons who supports all activities of Airbus Helicopters to support them while respecting the applicable export control regulations. This position is located in Marignane, France. It may include travels in France and in other countries.
In the context of Airbus Helicopters&39; policy on export control regulations, the Export Control Manager contributes to the compliance of tangible and intangible flows (all types of transactions : purchases, sales, repairs, exchanges, loans, transfers and storage of goods and data). Reporting to the HO Export Control France, the ECM is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and the consolidation of associated procedures.

Your challenges:
● Work on all export control issues handled by the department, as support to more industry-focused team members, including French, UK, German, European and US export regulations...;
● Ensure compliance of bids and contracts (compliance & contractual review, declaration to authorities, obtaining French and foreign licenses) ;
● Ensure compliance of offers and tenders concerning a geographical area (compliance review);
● Coordinate and ensure the consistency of export control processes and measures implemented within a type of helicopters (program follow-up);
● Ensure the deployment of export control actions and measures to improve the company&39;s compliance;
● Carry out all mandatory export control actions: apply for the necessary authorizations from the competent authorities and implement import and export controls, archive the various documents in accordance with regulatory provisions, ensure the implementation of procedures within the company and verify their application at operational level, etc.
Your profile:
● Min 5 years of experience working in a multinational environment advising on international trade and export control matters;
● Business acumen and ethical behavior in a heavily regulated business environment;
● Expert knowledge of Fr, EU, German, UK and US military and dual-use export controls;
● University educated;
● Strong leadership and communication skills ; sound business judgment; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;
● Excellent writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;
● Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
● High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
● Ability to quickly earn the respect of senior management in order to be credible and effective in this complex and constantly-developing environment;
● Languages: Commercially fluent in English and French; Italian is considered a plus.
