As part of the F135 Sustainment Organization executing Performance Based Logistics contracts, the Fleet Readiness Team is responsible for ensuring F-35 fleet supportability of the F135 propulsion system with around the clock support and integration with all disciplines and functions of the value stream.

We are looking for a Limiting Factor (LIMFAC) Manager to join the Component Afterspanet Integrated product Team (CAIPT) team. The CAIPT is a sustainment team focused on driving part maintenance strategy for the F135 propulsion system including depot material resolutions, driving affordability initiatives, and ensuring an afterspanet execution strategy is in place and in execution.

LIMFAC Manager Leader’s Intent:

Tactically drive mitigations to material challenges within the depot network to drive on time module production out of the international depot network and achieve module overhaul TAT’s required to meet pipeline targets and fleet requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide a single point of contact for LIMFACs that are identified and have mitigation plans in place requiring project integration and management to drive to closure
  • Manage the LIMFAC hardware with the CAIPT Leads, both existing and recurring (weekly) assessment of new risks and new LIMFACs to clearly identify issues, mitigation options, status, and drive the action plans to meet required schedules while creating and maintaining LIMFAC charts in support of escalation and DREP weekly meetings
  • Engage with key stake holders of LIMFAC mitigation actions, driving on time action closure, elevation of new or changing issues, and ensuring clear, concise communications across stakeholders
  • Team with HFFR focals, SCM, and MRO-Es as a “first line of defense” against LIMFACs to proactively address and identify outlook needs through tech management integration and induction planning / scheduling

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, management, or similar discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management related to one or more of the following: logistics integration, material supportability and analysis, supplier management and integration, contract compliance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proficiency in material logistics
  • Experience with F135 program, especially material analysis and depot integration
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills to interface with internal and external program management
  • Strong leadership skills, especially demonstrated indirect (dotted-line) leadership

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
