Job Title: GSE Supervisor

Position SummarySupervises maintenance of ground support equipment, including generators, APUs, tugs, tractors, carts, and stands. Plans and schedules departmental workloads and operations to maximize the effective utilization of employees, equipment, and material/supplies within budgetary, cost, and procedural standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Supervises maintenance of ground support equipment such as generators, alternate power units (APUs), tugs, tractors, carts, and stands, etc.
- Identifies sources and orders parts and supplies for GSE functions.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of GSE-related parts and supplies.
- Investigates and resolves GSE maintenance problems.
- Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures with regard to all department functions.
- Interfaces with other departments to ensure proper coordination of efforts and availability of required information.
- Generates and/or ensures that necessary periodic reports as directed.
- Instructs employees in company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Interviews, selects, and/or recommends hire of GSE employees; and provides appropriate training for departmental personnel.
- Provides supervision and assists or provides direction to departmental personnel in carrying out daily tasks, as required. Monitors work performance on a regular basis.
- Initiates and recommends approval of personnel actions, including employee selection and hire, pay changes, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position ProfileAcademic Qualifications- Technical or trade school education in a maintenance-related trade, or equivalent background providing knowledge of appropriate business and technical principles and procedures. (Desired)
Languages- English (Required)
- Spanish (A plus, but not required)
Previous Experience- Minimum of six (6) years related experience (Required)
Tools (Technology, Special Equipment, etc.)- Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Individual will perform daily transactions within Flightstars ERP system (AMROS).
Required Skills- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and response.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 121 and 145 Programs (Preferred).
