Description:You will be the IT&E Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Technical Team Lead. Our team is responsible for developing and integrating real-time, closed-loop systems for Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) sensor stimulation, driving innovation in sensor testing and system performance characterization.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IT&E HWIL Technical Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a cross-disciplinary team of engineers to manage the test and integration of advanced HWIL subsystems. Youll oversee the development and integration of complex simulation subsystems, support customer HWIL facilities, and drive the transition to closed-loop, real-time testing.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead a team of engineers in the development and integration of HWIL subsystems for IR and RF sensor stimulation
• Oversee subcontractors, integration, and testing of complex HWIL simulation subsystems
• Manage sensor analyses, modeling, and simulation efforts to support HWIL and flight test activities
• Develop and coordinate roadmaps for future HWIL capabilities with IRAD and Evolutionary Development Branch
• Serve as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) and liaison for USG HWIL counterparts
• Support planning and conduct pre-flight data reviews

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or STEM-related, or equivalent professional experience
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Experience integrating and testing IR or RF Sensors in a closed-loop simulation (HWIL)
- Experience in Team Leadership
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
- Experience in Subcontractor Supplier Management
- Experience using RF Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
- Experience with Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process including working through System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR)
- Experience integrating models into a closed-loop simulation using real-time operating systems (RTOS, e.g. iHawk with RedHawk)
- Experience simulating Datalink, GPS and Firing Module Simulators
- Candidate willingness to work out of Dallas, TX location

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
