Integrated Planning Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
The Integrated Planning Manager supports the alignment, execution, and follow-up of strategic and operational plans across Wizz Air’s core business areas (Commercial, Operations, Finance and Fleet). This role plays a key part in improving forecast reliability, translating business priorities into executable initiatives, and driving accountability for delivery.

Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Planning Support:
- Support the development and coordination of integrated plans across multiple business functions.
- Coordinate the Month End Close (MEC) and Forecast execution timeline and deliver the associated stewardship packages working closely with various Finance Functions.
- In close collaboration with Controlling, ensure strategic plans are clearly defined, aligned with business priorities, and based on realistic assumptions and timelines.
- Maintain planning documentation, action trackers, and decision logs to facilitate transparency and alignment.
Execution Monitoring & Risk Escalation:
- Track the implementation progress of key initiatives and flag deviations from agreed timelines or expected outcomes.
- Provide structured updates and insights to the Senior Integrated Planning Manager on risks, blockers, and mitigation actions.
- Contribute to identifying dependencies between initiatives across functions and help ensure coordinated execution.
Forecast & Business Case Alignment:
- Support the integration of planning inputs into financial forecasts and ensure assumptions are clearly linked to executable plans.
- Validate business cases in coordination with Controlling, ensure their execution, prepare and support recovery plans against deviations.
- Identify and support the execution of group level business initiatives that contribute to achieving critical business targets.
- Assist in the follow-up of approved business cases by tracking execution milestones and measuring benefits realization.
- Collaborate with business case owners to update timelines and adjust plans when required.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with stakeholders in functions such as Commercial, Corporate, Operations, Finance, and Maintenance to understand their plans and support their execution.
- Facilitate working sessions, or steering reviews as needed to maintain planning momentum and accountability.
- Help drive a culture of ownership, proactive planning, and disciplined follow-up across the business.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in planning, business analysis, project coordination, or performance tracking roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field is required.
- Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Fluent written and verbal English is a must
- Solid understanding of planning processes, initiative tracking, and business case follow-up.
- Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking or planning tools.
- Ability to structure complex information and present it clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to follow through on commitments and track delivery.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
- Team player with a solution-oriented approach and eagerness to learn.
