Role Overview:

Pratt & Whitney, a division of RTX, is seeking an Internal Quality Management System Auditor at our Northeast Logistics Center (NELC) facility. The successful candidate will require a strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, have effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

The working shift is on the 1st shift Monday through Friday.

This is an onsite role in Londonderry, New Hampshire

What You Will Do:

Perform internal audits with minimal guidance; work with the site audit coordinator to conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance with the AS9100 standard in support of Pratt & Whitney’s Quality Management System.

Work with the site audit coordinator to perform responsibilities such as audit team selection; audit planning; representing the audit team with Pratt & Whitney’s site stakeholders; conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with stakeholders; completing an audit report; and issuing, reviewing, and approving formal corrective actions.

Prepare the site for the FAA/DOD/DOJ, Quality System Effectiveness (QSE), Enterprise Quality Audit Team (EQAT) and registrar audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions.

Serve as liaison and interface to the Pratt & Whitney’s Certification body (registrar) during site certification or recertification audits, and FAA/DOD/DOJ, QSE, and EQAT audits.

Perform other audits as deemed appropriate at the site.

Facilitate corrective action responses with process owners, including advanced root cause analysis resources.

Ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and closed as scheduled.

Additional business tasks assigned by Quality Manager.

Qualification You Must Have:

High School Diploma or GED.

2+ years prior relevant experience in Manufacturing/Quality.

At least two (2) years of QMS auditing experience within the Aerospace Industry.

Working experience in auditing to the AS9100 standards.

Ability to function effectively without direct supervision.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a group setting and interface directly with a third-party logistics team.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three (3) years prior relevant experience in Manufacturing/Quality.

Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification.

American Society for Quality Certification/Certified Quality Auditor Certification (ASQ/CQA) Certification or equivalent.

Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools, such as robust root cause analysis (RRCA) and principles of lean manufacturing.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Certification or credentials may be required for some roles
