Aufgaben
In this key role, youll combine legal expertise with innovative data protection solutions - keeping our company secure, compliant, and always one step ahead.
- Ensuring the implementation of data protection requirements of the EU Data Protection Act (DSGVO), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), as well as other relevant data protection laws, taking into account group guidelines and internal requirements
- Preparation and maintenance of contract templates and general terms and conditions
- Internal contact person for data protection matters
- Proactive analysis of new legal requirements and identification of the corresponding options for action
- Monitoring of data protection and legal risks
- Ensuring compliance with LH Governance including the maintenance of PoAs and RoPs
- Selection and management of external service providers and consultants, in particular lawyers
- Collaboration in and/or management of cross-divisional or division-specific project

- Successfully completed studies in law or business law and Several years of experience in a legal counsel function and/or data protection
- Solid understanding of current data processing technologies
- Extensive knowledge fo the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
- Strong focus on results and solutions, plus the ability to develop new processes using the latest methods and tools and implementing them in a matrix organisation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, ability to explain complex topics in an easy manner, open personality and ability to convince others
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
