To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Honours in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in the valuable handling business, with a focus on strategy, vendor management, and operational oversight with 5+ years in leadership roles, managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in P&L management and budget forecasting.
- Demonstrated commercial experience, including sales, business development, and supplier relationship management.
- Change management and experience with digital transformation initiatives in logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of logistics frameworks (transportation, warehousing, and distribution).
- Knowledge of UAE laws, customs & other regulatory authorities regulations, and international logistics standards.
- Awareness of emerging technologies (e.g., digital logistics solutions, supply chain analytics, AI, automation).
- Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
You will have an edge, if you have:
- Experience within the valuable handling business.
- Experience in the UAE or GCC markets.
- PMP or related certification that demonstrates your skills in leading projects to improve operational performance.
