Core Responsibilities:
• Support global application engineering departments to ensure “Best MS product per Application”
• Enforce Product standards through digital tools and individual specification
• Successfully lead the complex terms of customers applications with a technically impeccable solution
• Support the sales team by providing an optimal hot runner solution
• Provide application engineering guidelines to the sales- and application employees
• Support the sales team in technical project meetings
• Provide input to the global Product Team on product improvements and product demands to cover future molding and application
techniques and -methods
• Supply design solutions for non-standard applications, with support of the engineering department
• Ensures compliance with legal and corporate standards, policies and local regulations in job related terms and full compliance with
QM (Quality Management) requirements
• Carries responsibility for the relevant cost center
• Leads and manages direct reports, is responsible for development and timely performance review (if applicable)
Qualifications:
• Degree in tool making, plastic engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering
• High expertise in hotrunner application engineering
• Experience in the field of Injection molding process (Mold Design and Production Processes)
• Able to work independently
• Customer orientated
• Very good knowledge of the English & Mandarin language
Education Requirements:
• Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
