PAL Airlines is currently recruiting for a Manager, Commercial to join our team in St. John&39;s, NL.
In the role of Manager, Commercial you will be responsible for:
- Support the Program Director with reporting, performance dashboards, and preparation of materials for client reviews.
- Monitor operational and commercial performance against contractual requirements, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a responsive, customer focused point of contact for internal teams and the client program, ensuring timely communication and followthrough.
- Support the Director of Commercial Operations in commercial analysis, forecasting, and planning activities that support network optimization and program performance
- Learn and interpret relevant regulations, collective agreements, and company policies to help design efficient compliant use of resources.
- Contribute to the team in developing and selecting recovery strategies that best utilize available resources—whether the day runs as expected or requires rapid operational adjustments.
- Build strong working relationships with all groups within the company as well as the broader flight network community.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational reliability, customer experience, and program performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline considered a preferred asset.
- 2-3 years management experience in a related field considered a preferred asset.
- Excellent logistics and planning abilities, with comfort working in complex operational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and operational processes.
- Experience working within the parameters of collective agreements considered a preferred asset.
- Experience supporting client facing programs and performance reporting a preferred asset.
