- Knowledge of quality assurance disciplines required.
- Expertise in technical quality tools and techniques.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Ability to successfully coordinate efforts outside of immediate quality department authority.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate.
- Previous experience working within a quality control/assurance department is required.
- Previous management experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills - creative thinker with exemplary written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with both co-management and internal/external customers and regulatory representatives (FAA/EASA/DCMA) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues is required.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
- Process improvement experience is required.
- Thorough knowledge of AS 9110/AS9100 and ISO 9001 is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.
- Background in Aviation/Aerospace is required.
- Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
- Access to Export Control Information is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year College with 6 – 10 years in aviation quality roles and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training.
- Experience and strong understanding of regulatory requirements associated with 14 CFR Part 145 and EASA-145 is required.
