Job Summary
We are looking for a Planning Manager to oversee and coordinate aircraft maintenance scheduling. This role ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations, optimizes fleet availability, and works closely with Fleet Managers, Hangar Project Managers, Tech Records, and Crewing to keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage short-term and long-term maintenance plans.
- Coordinate scheduled inspections, component changes, and fleet availability.
- Ensure compliance with Transport Canada (CARs) regulations.
- Work with Operations to minimize downtime and optimize aircraft scheduling.
- Maintain maintenance tracking systems and generate reports.
- Support inventory planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the Reliability Manager to improve fleet performance
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance planning or coordination.
- Knowledge of maintenance tracking software (e.g., RAAS, CAMP, WinAir).
- Strong understanding of Transport Canada regulations (CARs).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Prior exposure to or understanding of aviation maintenance regulations and safety standards would be considered an asset.
