None/Not RequiredWe are seeking an impact-driven leader to step into a critical role as the Product and Process Safety Focal for the Large Commercial Engines (LCE) Program, based on site in Windsor Locks, CT. This is more than a safety role, it’s an opportunity to define and drive the safety strategy for one of the most complex and high-stakes engineering environments in aerospace. As the single point of accountability for Flight Safety within the LCE Program Chiefs’ organization, you will lead the charge in building a unified, best-in-class safety framework that spans multiple engineering teams, programs, and partners.
You will be the engine behind the integration of the LCE Value Stream into the broader Collins Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney safety ecosystems, ensuring not just compliance, but excellence. You’ll guide high-impact investigations, elevate risk visibility, and drive cross-functional alignment around safety priorities. Your decisions will directly shape how we identify, respond to, and eliminate potential hazards, protecting our products, our people, and millions of passengers who rely on them. You’ll influence safety culture at every level, from day-to-day engineering execution to strategic engagement with customer safety boards and executive leadership.

Create, launch, and lead standard work for the LCE Value Stream Safety Process, including development of templates for safety reporting and PSB (Product Safety Board) status.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
