Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the operations of workers engaged in machining and producing precision and complex parts. You will ensure that production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve performance management, interviewing, and selection of prospective employees, as well as maintaining time and production records.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate workers to meet production schedules supporting customer requirements.
- Manage performance, conduct interviews, and select prospective employees.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Oversee consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, risk assessment, TPM, and OEE.
- Meet or exceed production and quality requirements.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment and ensure proper operation and maintenance.
- Anticipate and troubleshoot problems with orders and equipment.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional team members for problem resolution.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, rules, and safety regulations.
- Establish, communicate, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for employees.
- Oversee and promote safe equipment use and overall safety culture.
- Coordinate production efforts with supervision and other shifts or business units for smooth transitions.
- Resolve problems based on customer and division best interests.
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in line with company values.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of East Granby, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Participation in the Company’s Supplemental Incentive Compensation Plan (SICP) effective on date of employment, on a pro-rata basis. Targeted incentive under this plan is 12.5 of base salary, with a maximum payout of 25 of base salary. The incentive payout is based on Barnes Aerospace Consolidated’s ability to achieve their annual performance targets. Payouts to participants are subject to the provisions of the plan and are normally paid in late February following the year in which it was earned.

• Optional Dependent Term Life Insurance of up to $250,000 for your spouse and up to $10,000 for each dependent child, as applicable (contributory).
• Short-term Disability coverage, with a benefit of up to 26 weeks’ salary continuation (non-contributory).
• Long-term Disability coverage, with a benefit of 50 of covered earnings (non-contributory).
