- Maintain status, pertinent FARs, FAA Advisory Circulars, FAA Type Certificate Data Sheets for Aircraft, and FAA Airworthiness Directives.
- Maintains calibration records for precision tool/test equipment and ensures that this equipment is calibrated within the specified frequency. This includes precision equipment owned by technicians and inspection personnel.
- Oversee Inspection of incoming aircraft, parts, components, and appliances. Ensures proper identification, storage/protection, segregation of serviceable, un-repairable and rejected items, and proper tags/identifications.
- Monitor aircraft discrepancy records to ascertain that corrective action has been taken on all mechanical irregularities listed by the pilot, in accordance with procedures specified in the manual.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, and Lean Logic a plus.

- BS degree or equivalent and 2 years quality management, manufacturing, engineering experience preferred. In lieu of degree prior work experience, certification and education will be considered.
Skills/Experience Required
Prior experience having successful led AS9110/ISO9002 implementation and certification. Experience in A FAA 145 Repair Station or equivalent e.g. Parts 121 or 135. Technical experience and discipline of SMS. Must possess excellent project management skills. Excellent written/verbal communication. Ability to present out information to executive team on status of projects, lead AS9110/ISO9002 Management Review; Develop Corrective Action Reports and tracking for closed loop; develop quality standards, metrics and instructions and train organization in Quality System.
Aviation & Power Plant License (A&P) Airframe License required.
Prepares printed log entries as needed. Assures the proper execution of FAA forms and/or maintenance releases as required.
Must be knowledgeable of the applicable Manufacturers maintenance manual, company operations specifications, FARs and applicable portions of the company operations and maintenance manuals.
Performs RII inspections in accordance with Quality Control Manual and customer requirements.
Assembles required inspections packages.
Assists, supervises, and directs personnel assigned to the Quality Assurance department, with oversight of inspectors during work performed under CFR 145 Repair Station.
Accomplishment of job duties. Ability to travel (20%-30%) with overnight stays to support job functions throughout the network. Travel may include overseas.
SECURITY & BACKGROUND: Must be able to pass aviation security Background Checks.
Ensures that files of all maintenance work performed by the Repair Station, including work order sheets, parts certifications (form 8130-3rsquo;s, Certificate of Conformities, etc.), inspection checklists and aircraft permanent records, are maintained in good order and in accordance with applicable FARs, and the company Quality Control Manual.
Administers and supervises the quality assurance and inspection programs as required by FAR 145 regulations and the Repair Station Manual.
Has final authority in the releasing to service of airframes, engines, propellers, appliances, and component parts.
Responsible for revising the 145 Repair Station manual.
Conducts quality assurance audits of 145 Repair Station, and Repair Station vendors/contractors as required.
Provides oversight of Dominion Aviationrsquo;s Training Program.
Reviews ADs, SBs as required during inspection for proper compliance.
Ensures the proper tagging and disposition of all parts and components.
Performs surveillance audits in coordination with FAA personnel.
Performs log research for Part 145 customer aircraft inspections.
Assist Part 135 Director of Maintenance with conformity and logbook reviews.
Assist Part 145 QA Manager.
Cooperates in conduct with the Safety Management System and is instrumental with corrective action plans and preventative measures.
Have a minimum of five (5) years.
Having previous experience in a 145 Repair Station.
Possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Posses or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport for travel required for
