Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Builds high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, and composite materials while ensuring quality standards.
Provides training and mentorship to cabinet builders.
Train and mentor cabinet builders.
Read and interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings.
Fabricate and install aircraft cabinetry, including hardwood bullnose, Corian countertops, and veneer applications.
Operate CNC machines, pin routers, and other woodworking equipment.
Apply adhesives, epoxies, and finishes.
Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain shop tools and a clean work environment.
Meet production targets and deadlines.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of aircraft cabinet building experience (required).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must meet minimum tool requirements within six months of employment.
Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
Effective communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments.
Ability to operate woodworking tools and machinery.
Tool Requirements:
Basic hand tools (hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
Power tools (cordless drills, routers, die grinders, etc.).
Measuring instruments (calipers, scales, tape measures).
Physical Requirements:
Must comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted (up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, standing, and climbing ladders.
Normal or corrected vision required.
