Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager who is passionate about people and committed to fostering a safe and supportive work environment. This strategic leadership role calls for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in implementing best practices across all areas of human resources. Key responsibilities include overseeing the HR team, managing employee relations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving talent and performance management, coordinating training and development programs, and administering workers’ compensation claims. This leader will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and cultivating a workplace culture that is safe, positive, and high performing.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Drive organizational effectiveness through workforce planning and talent strategies
- Oversee employee relations to ensure a positive and compliant environment
- Coach leadership on goal setting, feedback, and development planning
- Develop retention strategies and succession planning initiatives
- Partner with internal Talent Acquisition and external recruiters to attract and hire top talent
- Partner with department managers to identify training needs and coordinate development programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Oversee management of LOA programs
- Oversee company Attendance policy
- Lead and develop HR team members to ensure high performance of team
- Use data to identify trends and recommend improvement and track HR metrics
- Partner with divisional and corporate HR and HR support as necessary
- Partner with EHS teams to ensure safety compliance in the workplace
- Partner with Workers Compensation teams to manage open cases
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications
- In depth knowledge of CA labor laws
- Proficient with Workday and other HRIS software applications
- Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time effectively
Required Experience:
- 10+ years in Human Resources, with progressive advancement to include leading an HR department
- Experience within manufacturing desired
Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is preferred

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $145,000 to $185,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Annual Executive Bonus Plan, paid out at a target of 30, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the companys medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
