We are currently seeking a versatile Systems Administrator with expertise in both Linux and Windows environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our servers and systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a strong foundation in Linux administration, complemented by experience with Windows server management. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting our infrastructure, automation, and maintaining the DevOps applications for the network.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, Linux and Windows servers and DEVOPS applications.
- In cooperation with security maintain high RMF standards.
- Install/integrate and maintain complex software and hardware as required to support the Ft Wayne programs.
- Provide 1st level support for L3Harris approved Devops and CAE applications.
- Implement regular system updates and patches, minimizing vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance infrastructure, including participation in DevOps practices and automation projects.
- Ability to support limited offsite travel, overtime work.
- Ability to get CompTIa Security + CE within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- One year of experience as a System/Network Administrator managing an enterprise level domain.
- Current/Active DOD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Atlassian tools install/config/troubleshooting experience.
- SQL database experience.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework processes.
- Experience with Commvault or similar backup system software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and management of virtualized environments.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline administrative tasks.
- Must be able to participate in a two person lift
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
