Training Analytics and Projects Manager

Purpose of the role
The Training Analytics and Projects Manager is responsible for ensuring end-to-end alignment between long-term crew recruitment, training demand, and training capacity, supporting business growth with high efficiency, predictability, and cost control.
The role acts as a central control tower, combining long-term recruitment and training planning, short- and long-term performance analytics, and targeted transformation initiatives to deliver a stable, scalable and cost-efficient training operation.
Responsibilities
Long-Term Recruitment and Training Planning
- Own long-term crew hiring and training demand plan
- Translate fleet growth, attrition, and productivity into hiring needs
- Align recruitment pipeline with training capacity and upgrade timelines
- Ensure plan feasibility and manage structural risks
Training Capacity Planning
- Define long-term needs for simulators, instructors, and infrastructure
- Anticipate bottlenecks and ensure scalable capacity aligned with growth
Performance and Analytics
- Monitor training performance (short & long term)
- Track delivery vs plan, utilization, productivity, throughput, and costs
- Analyze deviations and drive improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reliability
- Leverage dashboards and automation for real-time KPI tracking and insights
Transformation and Improvement
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, resource use, planning, and data quality
- Set clear scope, KPIs, and timelines with measurable outcomes
Stakeholder Management
- Interface with Training, Crew Planning, Recruitment, Finance, and providers
- Ensure alignment across hiring, training capacity, and operations
- Provide clear reporting for decision-making
Success measures
- Alignment between long-term recruitment and training capacity
- Forecast accuracy and delivery reliability
- Simulator and instructor utilization
- Training cost per crew member
- Stability and predictability of training operations
- Impact of transformation initiatives
Experience
- 4-6+ years of overall experience with 3+ years experience in planning, analytics, operations, or performance management
- Experience in workforce planning, training planning, or operations planning
- Proven track record in project delivery and cross-functional coordination
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
Hard skills
- Advanced Excel (mandatory)
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
Strong understanding of:
- Capacity planning
- Forecasting methodologies
- Performance measurement
- Ability to link operational data with financial impact
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business,Engineering, Aviation, Economics, Mathematics or similar
Language
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
