What does the role look like?
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic People Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our UK learning initiatives, with an additional focus on early careers programs. Responsible for two sites (Wolverhampton & Banbury) you will drive talent development, enhance employee engagement, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning to meet both organisational and individual career aspirations.
This role is pivotal in shaping the future workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining early-career talent, while also overseeing comprehensive learning programs across the business.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Lead a team of UK L&D/Early Careers specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
Develop a suite of learning programs, including workshops, e-learning, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
Design and implement UK strategy for early-career programs, including graduate schemes, apprenticeships, and internships.
What will you bring to the role?
Essential skills:
- Proven experience in learning and development, in a managerial role.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design, and learning principles.
- A real passion and track record of developing talent at all levels of the organisation.
Desirable skills:
- Expertise in designing and managing strategy for early careers programs (e.g., graduate schemes, apprenticeships).
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design, and learning principles.

- Good knowledge of project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fantastic stakeholder management skills
