Summary:
Fabricate and assemble mechanical and structural components using standard hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
Perform mechanical assembly, heavy structure drill-out, bonding, fastener installation, and wire harness installation
Build, modify, install, troubleshoot, and repair components and structural assemblies
Execute work orders based on engineering drawings, models, and procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and buyoffs for completed work, inspections, and non-conformances
Collaborate with engineers to suggest design improvements and process enhancements
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and configuration control
Support engineering teams during development, testing, and prototype builds
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent experience in:
Experience working with:
Composites
Titanium
Sheet metal
Riveting and fastening
Wiring and tubing
Basic machining
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering data
Experience using tools such as:
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
