Job Title: Aircraft Manufacturing Program SpecialistJob DescriptionThe Program Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the repair, installation, and completion of major aircraft structures at an aircraft manufacturing facility. This position involves close collaboration with the Product Manager and General Manager of an onsite vendor. The specialist will interface with engineering, management, quality assurance, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance. Key responsibilities include addressing issues, adjusting timelines, consulting with engineers for solutions, and communicating with technicians and customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure repair, installation, and completion of major aircraft structures.
- Interface with engineering, management, quality assurance, suppliers, and customers.
- Meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance.
- Address issues and adjust project timelines as needed.
- Consult with engineers to develop effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers.
- Collaborate with inspectors performing composite and sheetmetal repair/rework on Boeing 737 aircraft.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Proficiency in CATIA software.
- Strong management and supervision skills.
- Familiarity with aviation industry standards.
- Experience working on Boeing 737 aircraft.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must be rehireable at Boeing.
- Management experience in aircraft manufacturing.
- Experience managing processes and working with various departments.
- Preferred experience with the 737 program or previous experience in Wichita.
- Comfortable with extensive overtime.

Work Environment
The role is based at the Renton factory, where the specialist will work up to 7 days a week, from 5am to 5pm. The position involves roughly 50 of time spent in the office and 50 on the manufacturing floor.

This is a Contract position based out of Renton, Washington.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
