Job Title: MachinistJob Description
Join our team as a Machinist, where you will work in a metal production facility, operating CNC lathes and mills. You will be responsible for setting up and changing over machines, ensuring the quality of pieces using micrometers and calipers, and utilizing blueprints and drawings. Additionally, you will document all finished products in a written log and maintain a clean work area before and after your shift.
Schedule: We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 6am-4pm and 2nd shift from 4pm-12:30am.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and mills, including Okuma, Haas, or similar machines.
- Set up and change over machines (2-3 times per day).
- Check pieces for quality using micrometers and calipers.
- Utilize blueprints and drawings to guide machining processes.
- Document finished products in a written log.
- Maintain a clean work area before and after shifts.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of CNC experience on lathes and mills.
- Experience with at least one of the following machines: Okuma, Haas, or similar.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers.
- Experience with machine setup or changeover (2-3 per day).
- Ability to work in a high-volume production shop.
- Understanding of GD&T symbols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- G&M codes knowledge.
- Programming experience.
- Experience with Doosan machines.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Manual machining experience.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 10-12 individuals, working in a metal manufacturing setting. The dress code includes steel toes and jeans, and ear protection will be provided. As a medium-sized company, we ensure a comfortable and engaging work environment.

This position is based out of Harwood Heights, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
