Position SummaryUnder general supervision, the Machine Operator sets up and operates machining equipment such as CNC machines, grinders, EDM machines, lathes, and mills to perform machining operations on turbine engine components including blades, vanes, and shrouds.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate machining equipment including CNC machines, grinders, EDM machines, lathes, and mills
Read and interpret process instructions, technical drawings, and work orders
Verify machine programs and adjust controls as needed to meet specifications
Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments to ensure quality standards
Maintain required tolerances and surface finishes on aerospace components
Monitor product flow through machining and repair processes
Maintain clean work areas and support departmental housekeeping efforts
Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and PPE requirements
Assist with training new team members when needed
Required Skills & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED
1+ year of CNC or machining experience, OR:
Ability to read and follow technical work instructions
Experience using precision measuring tools,
Micrometers
Calipers
Dial indicators
Surface plates
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Willingness to work overtime or additional shifts when needed

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
