Now Hiring Skilled PCB & Coating Specialists in Tucson, AZ
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift). Initial training will take place on 1st Shift at $21/hr for approximately 30–60 days. Upon transition to 2nd Shift, employees receive an additional $2/hour shift differential.
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry to hire experienced Production Operators specializing in CCA Coating Room Assembly. This is an onsite opportunity with overtime potential, where your technical expertise will directly impact the quality and reliability of advanced electronic products.
Your Impact
In this role, you will play a critical part in the production of high-quality printed circuit boards and circuit card assemblies. Your attention to detail and hands-on expertise in coating, soldering, and inspection will ensure products meet strict industry standards and perform reliably in real-world applications. Your work will directly contribute to manufacturing excellence and continuous process improvement.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
Repair feeders, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment calibration
Apply conformal coatings using spray, dip, brush, and selective coating methods
Mask, inspect, and rework coated PCBs to ensure uniform, defect-free finishes
Identify and resolve assembly defects such as solder bridges, voids, and coating inconsistencies
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes
Follow detailed technical drawings, schematics, and process documentation
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in PCB assembly, post-wave soldering, and coating processes
Hands-on experience with conformal coating techniques and materials (acrylic, urethane, silicone, parylene)
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation
Solid understanding of SMT processing and board assembly workflows
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing systems and documentation control tools
Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, documentation systems)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and machinery
Requires manual dexterity, repetitive motion, and precise hand-eye coordination
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in confined workspaces
Periodic lifting and handling of materials, including occasional heavier loads
Sustained visual focus on detailed assemblies and documentation

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
