Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description
As a Quality Technician, you will be engaging with suppliers to ensure quality compliance and continuous improvement in our processes. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality standards and documentation within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Work with receiving inspection to document supplier non-conformances in the Intelex database.
- Assist in issuing and following up on supplier non-conformances in the Intelex database to ensure timely response.
- Review suppliers submitted root cause and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences and close non-conformances in the Intelex database.
- Assist in creating Certification packages, 1st articles, and configuration audits.
- Assist the Quality Manager in approving supplier PPAPs.
- Contact suppliers for their Quality System Certificate to maintain status in the Supplier Master list (SML).
- Ensure continued compliance with AS9100 by creating and revising quality documents before submitting them for approval.
- Perform root cause and corrective actions for Delivery Errors and Technical Errors in the Intelex database, including 8D and 5-why analysis.
- Create and revise process flow charts and control plans, and train plant personnel on new revisions.
- Support the Chief Inspector by conducting compliance trainings and performing PFMEA reviews.
- Support the Part Production Approval Process (PPAP) including gage R&Rs and capability studies.
- Manage the audit process for Quality and EHS areas, ensuring audits are performed and completed as scheduled.
- Follow all plant safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Experience in Inspection and Quality Control.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Standards.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Knowledge of manufacturing and planning requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to delegate work to meet scheduled delivery dates.
- Ability to work independently in a high-stress environment.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Work Environment
The work environment is business casual with a blue coat required in the work area. The position operates Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with additional hours on weekends as needed. The facility is climate-controlled, and all tools are provided. Steel-toe shoes are required, and candidates must pass a Near Vision Eye Test to Jaeger 1 and a Color Perception test. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and is open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
