POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (MIS) FOR AVIATION
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Relevant experience in MIS or IT management, preferably within the aviation sector, including roles in system implementation, IT strategy, or consulting is desirable.
Possess expertise in Management Information Systems: In-depth understanding of MIS concepts, frameworks, and practices, including system design, data management, and information systems strategy; Aviation Industry Insight: Familiarity with specific information systems used in the aviation industry, such as airline reservation systems, operational management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems; Information Technology Proficiency: Experience with various MIS tools and technologies, including databases (SQL), data analytics platforms, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; Systems Analysis and Design: Ability to analyse and design information systems tailored to the needs of aviation organizations.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
