Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to invite qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University in the capacity of Adjunct Professor of Principles of Resource Sequencing and Scheduling.
ABOUT THE JOB
POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF PRINCIPLES OF RESOURCE SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Ph.D. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Practical experience in resource management or project scheduling within an industry setting. Experience collaborating with organizations on resource optimization projects is desirable.
Possess expertise in Resource Management: In-depth knowledge of resource allocation, management, and optimization techniques, Understanding of various resource types, including human, financial, and material resources; Familiarity with scheduling methodologies such as Gantt charts, Critical Path Method (CPM), Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), and agile scheduling; Expertise in time management and task prioritization strategies; Mathematical Modelling: Proficiency in mathematical modelling and optimization techniques relevant to scheduling and sequencing problems, Understanding of algorithms related to resource scheduling, including linear programming and heuristics; Experience with software applications used for scheduling and resource management (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or specialized optimization software); Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, and quality management.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
