Qualifications- Possess and maintain a NICET II or higher in Fire Alarm or Sprinkler certification programs
- Have 2 years minimum experience working with fire alarm systems
- Must be able to retain an Iowa or Illinois license pertaining to fire alarm maintenance
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must have a safe driving record, as defined by company policy, to operate a company vehicle
- Must successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screening
- Be able to perform frequent bending, squatting, crouching, reaching above shoulders, kneeling, climbing and pushing/carrying of up to 40 pounds
- Be able to be certified for confined space work if needed
- Withstand exposure to cleaning, maintenance and repair products commonly associated with electronics work
- Be able to work at heights from a variety ladders or lift & work near water
- Must be able to work in any inclement weather conditions as needed
- Must be able to work within an on-call rotation and respond within the required timeframe
