The role:
As Cabin Crew at London Gatwick, you’ll be an integral part of our close-knit team, creating memorable journeys for our customers. Based on our long-haul operation, you’ll play a key role in delivering world-class service across our growing network of worldwide destinations, operated by our Boeing 777 fleet.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and service, complying with all operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Create an exceptional onboard experience by delivering outstanding customer service.
- Act as a British Airways brand ambassador, providing a warm, friendly, and professional presence onboard.
- Work as part of a close-knit team to ensure the comfort and well-being of our customers.
- Proactively address and resolve customer needs, ensuring every journey is as smooth as possible.
- Maintain resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:

Your experience:
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over at the time of application.
- Have a minimum of 12 months customer service experience.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Hold a valid passport with unrestricted travel rights and at least 12 months validity.
- Be eligible to obtain a US visa.
- Be able to pass a Criminal Record Check for all countries of residence over the last five years.
- Be medically and physically fit to meet aviation safety requirements.
- Meet the height and reach requirements (maximum of 2.01m, and a vertical reach of at least 2.01m).
- Be able to swim 50 metres unaided and tread water for three minutes.
- Be comfortable working at height, including descending an escape slide from 9 metres.
- Be willing to work shifts 24/7, 365 days a year, and undertake standby duties near Gatwick Airport.
- Have no visible tattoos or body piercings when wearing the British Airways uniform.
