About the Role
Morson are proud to be recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for a Communications Advisor to join the Internal Communications team based in Warton.
This role will sit within the Change and Engagement workstream of the Spartan Programme, supporting the delivery of high-impact communications that inform, inspire and guide colleagues through transformation.
Working closely with the Spartan Communications Lead, you will help manage and deliver the programme’s communications and engagement approach across the business. Your work will ensure colleagues receive clear, timely and engaging messaging that supports them through organisational change.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans for the Spartan transformation programme.

Partner with programme leads and act as a trusted communications advisor to achieve aligned programme objectives and business strategy.

Develop and deliver engaging change communications solutions that maintain high levels of colleague engagement throughout the programme lifecycle.

Collaborate with the internal communications team and other functional communications leads to ensure a joined-up approach to messaging and activity.

Create high-quality, engaging communication content that is clear, motivating and aligned with key business messages.

Utilise a multi-channel communications approach, leveraging existing internal platforms and exploring innovative communication methods.

Apply established change communications methodologies to support successful programme delivery.

Identify and track communication effectiveness metrics, adapting strategies where necessary to maximise impact.

Work with senior leaders across change programmes to identify communication priorities aligned with the Air Sector’s Destination 2035 strategy.
Skills & Experience

Proven experience developing and delivering communications and engagement plans within complex transformation or change programmes.

Strong writing and content creation skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging messaging.

Experience creating engagement initiatives that maintain colleague engagement during organisational change and secure senior stakeholder buy-in.

Ability to measure communications effectiveness and adjust strategies based on insights and metrics.

Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.

Demonstrated experience working in large or complex organisations in a change communications capacity.
