Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Assemble, pre-fit, and bond various metal, composite, or laminate parts and assemblies according to engineering and manufacturing specifications. Responsibilities include:
Laying out and cutting materials to size.
Operating autoclaves, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
Sanding, deburring, and applying sealing resins to edges.
Utilizing lay-up tools (optical and hard) for composite and metal assembly fabrication.
Reading and interpreting prints, charts, sketches, and work orders.
Using shop math and precision instruments to ensure work meets specifications.
Performing minor machine maintenance and ensuring equipment/tool certifications.
Supporting workflow by moving products within the manufacturing area and training other employees.
Performing rework or repairs as needed.
Required Skills:
2 5 years of experience in composites (aerospace experience required).
Ability to start immediately.
Local candidates strongly preferred.
Pay includes a $110/week per diem for qualified candidates.
